On a normal day at home, it’s nice to be comfortable and wear the types of clothes you like. However, if you’ve got a huge event approaching – like you’re very own wedding, it’s a good idea to step it up! That means pulling out all the stops when it comes to hair and makeup too.
When one engaged couple from North Carolina was getting ready to say “I do,” they didn’t just head to their local salon. Nope, they went on a daytime talk show and ended up receiving makeovers of a lifetime.
An outdoorsy couple who loved camouflage
There are many celebrity TV hosts, like Rachael Ray and Oprah, that help people who need a major style change. On an episode of The Rachael Ray Show, the host had her work cut out for her.
It can be easy for couples to get too comfortable when they are together. For this engaged couple, they realized that their looks screamed comfort. They loved the great outdoors and their clothing went along with it.
There was nothing wrong with their appearances. But with their wedding day nearing, they decided to shake things up.
Stacy and Brandon met Rachael Ray, and in the video, Stacy describes how her appearance made her feel.
“I don’t feel like I look bad, I just feel like I look kinda ‘blah.’”
These two are quite aptly dubbed the “camo couple” but their camo wardrobes fit in with their lifestyle.
Brandon and Stacy enjoy hunting and fishing, so their wardrobe is pretty spot-on for just that. But after they got engaged, Brandon thought it would be nice to get a little makeover.
In fact, the groom-to-be even admits he is willing to part with his long-loved beard before his spring wedding.
Host Rachael Ray enlisted the help of stylist Kyan Douglas to help this camo couple get in touch with a new sense of style.
There is a reason these people are called professionals because this is one stunning transformation.
Oftentimes, Rachael has over-the-top reactions when she sees a makeover reveal, and this was no exception.
When Stacy and Brandon’s makeover results were revealed, Rachael actually dropped down to the floor! A viewer who was also impressed by the makeover commented:
“Wooww that is a big change on their look. She looks stunning. He looks way better without his beard. He looks way younger.”

Let’s just say Brandon does not look like the same man! Without his long, scraggly beard, he is absolutely transformed and his future wife is blown away by his new look.
Stacy herself looks like a brand new woman with her hair beautifully styled, makeup, and a more formal outfit. Frankly, these two look like they should be hitting the town!
It’s sweet that these two have a certain style that they enjoy together in their regular lives. But how awesome is it that they were willing to try something different – just to look dynamite on their special day?
