Don’t you ever wish you have that gorgeous beach wave hairstyle?

Who doesn’t want to have that healthy, sexy, and beautiful hairstyle? Of course, we all know it’s not that easy to achieve, or is it?

Shonagh Scott shared a simple way how you can achieve that perfect beach-wave hairstyle that could last for three days, along with the products she used.

First, she washed her hair with Kerastase Blond Absolu Bain Lumiere Shampoo and Kerastase Blond Absolu Cicaflash Treatment (Conditioner).

Scott told her audience that she washes her hair twice before applying conditioner to remove all the dirt.

After drying her hair, she used Redken Extreme Anti-Snap for protection and added shine and IGK Hair Thirsty Girl Coconut Milk Leave-In Conditioner.

Then she used a blow dryer and dried her hair around 90%.

You don’t want to do this trick when your hair is still wet because when you wake up, it will still be damp and you won’t achieve the desired results.

Then flip your hair over and pull it into a loose ponytail.

You don’t want it to be too tight or pull it to the roots because you’ll get a headache. Besides, we want to create volume so you can leave the roots out.

Separate into three equal sections and then braid. Leave an inch at the bottom or else it would be crinkly.

We want to create a natural beachy wave, so be very careful not to overdo it.

Secure your braid with an elastic and stand up.

You can now have a good night’s sleep.

Good morning! Now that you are up, it’s time to see your beautiful beach-wave hair. First, you will need to remove the elastic and then gently unravel the braid. Take your time.

Once done, part your waves using your fingers. Do it gently and give it a little shake. That’s it!

Tips from Shonagh Scott:

  • Don’t forget to spray IGK Hair Beach Club Volumising Texture Spray so that your beach waves don’t fall flat.
  • For day 2, you might notice that your waves are starting to look dull, prevent it by using IGK Hair Mistress Anti-Frizz Leave-In Balm and IGK Hair Mixed Feelings Cooling Blonde Drops. If you have blond hair, add IGK Hair Mixed Feelings Cooling Blonde Drops into the mix.
  • By day 3, you might feel that your scalp is a little bit oily. You may need to use a dry shampoo here. Shonagh suggests trying IGK Hair First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo.
  • You can also put your waves in a bun if you want to. Use a bungee cord instead of the normal elastic.

What we love about this is that it’s so easy to do.

You literally will just sleep through the night and wake up with beautiful hair! Just don’t forget that we have different hair textures and colors.

It’s best to use the products that suit your hair needs and the ones you love. Once you perfect this trick, your friends and family will start asking you about your secret.
