Kim’s sister revealed that Cindy had gone without a haircut for 45 years. That’s right. Almost half a century without a haircut. For years, the mother had put her own comfort aside to focus on her family.

The mother and son were amazed when they learned they were on the show.

Erin told the show that his mom had done so much to get him where he was. Naturally, he was happy to be getting his own makeover. But he knew that his mom was the one who truly deserved it!

Cindy, true to her typical self, only told the show how proud she was to see her son succeed.

Cindy and Erin carried on with their makeovers. The rest of the family weren’t allowed to see them again until the makeovers were complete. So live on air, the family members stood in the studio, blindfolded and awaiting the reveal.

First, Erin walked out, showing off his new self.

They couldn’t quite believe that they were looking at Erin. Then it was time for Erin to see himself in the mirror. He stared in the mirror and struck a suave pose. For the first time in a long time, Erin had no beard. He revealed that it felt cold to not have one. He’d soon get used to it!

Then it was time for Cindy to walk out.

Cindy’s new hair was shorter, but it had much more volume and color. And it made her look significantly younger. Her family, who had all turned around, looked at her. This time, they were even more shocked.

For a second Cindy looked confused. Then she realized that the person among her family whom she didn’t recognize was her son, Erin. They hugged.

Cindy’s husband, who had been married to her for 42 years, had never before seen her with a haircut. He was so amazed by the transformation that he could barely speak.

And it wasn’t just the family who loved the makeovers. The video became a hit on Facebook.
